At VIGO, we're currently supporting a forward-thinking business operating across the BMS and Decarbonisation space, who are looking to strengthen their delivery team with an experienced Senior Commissioning Engineer. If you have strong exposure to Trend and IQ Vision systems and enjoy solving complex technical challenges while working on innovative projects, this could be an excellent next step.
In this role, you will take the lead on commissioning activities, working across both traditional BMS environments and emerging smart technologies, while continuing to develop your skills in next-generation platforms.
Role Overview
As a Senior Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality commissioning support across a varied project portfolio. This role combines hands-on technical delivery with exposure to modern smart building technologies, offering genuine progression and continuous learning opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-level commissioning and technical support across Trend and IQ Vision systems
Apply a solution-focused approach when resolving complex system issues
Work across a blend of innovative smart building projects and traditional BMS environments
Expand your technical knowledge through training on additional platforms such as Distech
Get involved with emerging technologies including BrainBox and Node-RED
Support the wider project and engineering teams as required
The Ideal Candidate
Proven experience in a Commissioning Engineer role, with strong Trend and IQ Vision exposure
Comfortable working independently in a site-based commissioning environment
Keen to learn and develop skills across new BMS and smart building technologies
Curious, innovative, and motivated to grow alongside the business
Adaptable and confident handling a variety of technical challenges
Holds a full UK driving licence
