VIGO is recruiting for an experienced BEMS Project Manager to join a fast-growing Smart Buildings company in the Northern Region of the UK. The business is known for its extensive expertise in Building Management Systems (BMS) and its commitment to high-quality customer service.
Role Overview
As the BMS Project Manager, you can expect to be at the coalface of technologically advanced, energy-saving smart building projects. Your role will involve managing the delivery of BEMS projects, taking them from initial sales handover through detailed design, delivery, and final completion.
Key Responsibilities
Design and manage the delivery of BEMS projects
Carry out assessment of construction issue data and manage RFIs
Produce control schedules, operation descriptions, and network schematics
Procure hardware, field equipment, control panels, and installation resources
Manage commercial aspects at the project level, such as variations and applications
Maintain high-level customer communication
Identify and flag any risks during the projects
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role should have:
A proven track record in project management, particularly within BEMS
Technical knowledge of Trend, Tridium, and Schneider EcoStruxure, among other legacy systems
A comprehensive understanding of HVAC plant and control applications
The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The ability to thrive under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively
An up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations
