VIGO is working with one of Midlands' leading smart building integrators to recruit a dedicated BMS Service Engineer. The business has an extensive portfolio of healthcare and education projects that require strong technical experience and product knowledge, specifically in Trend IQVision/SET BMS. The role is based within commuting distance of Birmingham, with some regional travel required.
Role Overview
This contract position, expected to last anywhere from 3 to 6 months, falls within IR35 and offers a daily rate in the range of £300 to £330. The role focuses on proactive and reactive service works, carrying out small upgrades on systems, and performing fault finding as needed. The engineering team you'll be joining is renowned for their excellent craftsmanship and innovative approach to smart building projects.
Key Responsibilities
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on Trend IQVision/SET systems
Reacting promptly to service call outs and resolving issues efficiently
Completing small system upgrades as part of an ongoing system enhancement strategy
Performing accurate fault finding and diagnostic measures on BMS systems
Managing relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
The Ideal Candidate
Proven experience working with Trend IQVision/SET systems
Strong knowledge of BMS (Building Management Systems)
Extensive experience in fault finding and BMS diagnostics
Ability to manage relationships and communicate effectively with a range of clients
Willingness to travel regionally as needed
